We take pride in being a true community club. Relaxed, supportive, and down to earth. There’s no need to be a pro or “fit in” to a certain mould — our members are here to enjoy the game, have fun, and make lasting friendships along the way.
From casual hits on social mornings to competitive league matches, we offer opportunities for everyone to play at their level and improve their game. Our SWE Division 1 men’s team were 2025 champions, and our juniors and ladies’ sides are going from strength to strength.
Beyond the courts, our clubhouse is the heart of the club — a warm, welcoming space to share a drink, a meal, and good conversation with fellow members. We host events all year, from tournaments and quiz nights to summer fun days and the Christmas band night.

Our 2026 Summer Fun Day was a scorching success! 40+ children engaged in an afternoon of splashing about on an inflatable water slide, getting creative with face painting and enjoying tennis-themed games. Meanwhile, our adult members brought out their competitive spirit for a light-hearted World Cup-themed tournament, won by Team England. The ever-reliable Whitehall bakers did us proud with a spectacular spread of delicious cakes and the bar drinks flowed all afternoon and deep into the evening!
Many congratulations to the Men’s I team who were victorious in their Essex Junior Cup Final against Chigwell on Sunday 5th July.
The Final was played at Gidea Park Tennis Club and Whitehall were represented by Chris Wells, Conor McNabb, Jack Mercy & Nick Thomson.
